Traditional Scottish Plain Loaf

Mothers Pride began baking 'Plain Bread' in Scotland in 1958, and the product has had a long and proud association with Scotland. Until the 1970s it was the only type of bread readily available in Scotland. The product itself is quite unique in both taste and appearance, with tall, thin slices and a dark crust. It’s a truly Scottish product, rarely found south of the border.

Please note that the shelf life on our plain loaves is very short and are really only for UK and EU express delivery.
